Following the success of last year’s event, Brompton Technology is excited to announce its return to Inter BEE 2024, Japan’s premier professional exhibition for audio, video, and communications. This international showcase brings together the latest innovations in content production from Japan and across the globe. Building on the momentum of previous years, Inter BEE 2024 will see an expanded presence of Brompton’s cutting-edge LED video processing technology, which will be featured on the booths of key partners including Infiled Japan, Ark Ventures Inc., Sony Marketing Inc., Leyard Japan, AOTO Electronics, Innovator One Co., Ltd and d&b audiotechnik.
Brompton highlights at this year’s show include the latest Tessera v3.5 features, such as Dark Time Insertion, Frame Store, Hidden Marker Improvement, as well as the recent Q-SYS plugin integration. These enhancements further cement Brompton’s leadership in the virtual production (VP) and the high-end LED installations sectors.
“We are honoured to be featured on our partners’ booths at Inter BEE 2024,” says Elijah Ebo, Director of APAC Operations at Brompton. “As part of their own innovations and advanced LED setups, these partners will demonstrate our industry-leading processing technology, showcasing its transformative capabilities for virtual production, extended reality, and dynamic LED installations.”
Many of Brompton’s partners appreciate the impact that Dark Time Insertion has on reducing motion blur. This feature builds on Brompton’s patented ShutterSync® technology, offering benefits for human viewers with this enhanced clarity, especially in fast-paced content like simulators or esports.
“Cinematographers often prefer 24fps for its creative motion blur, but for applications like esports or simulators, minimising motion blur is essential to maintain sharp visuals,” explains Ebo. “The Dark Time Insertion feature inserts controlled dark intervals between frames, effectively eliminating motion blur and delivering a sharper, higher frame-rate viewing experience.”
Brompton’s Q-SYS plugin integration further enhances its offerings by introducing advanced reporting and control features. Ebo adds: “Q-SYS integration with Brompton provides an all-encompassing solution for high-end LED installations. This integration combines Brompton’s renowned quality with the robust performance of Q-SYS, offering powerful control and monitoring capabilities.”
